Russians were angry with the Tsar because of WWI losses, starvation, and fuel shortages.

Bolsheviks led by V.I. Lenin revolt in 1917, kill all members of the Tsar’s family. Lenin's slogan is "peace, land, bread".

The Bolsheviks follow the ideas of Karl Marx and create a 1 party totalitarian comminist state. Russia turns into the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (U.S.S.R. or Soviet Union)
